| Bio: | This is an RPing journal for the character Elphaba Thropp. I do not own Wicked, or any of the images used for icons and like. If I did own Wicked, then Idina Menzel would be my bestest friend. ||Character Info:|| Name: Elphaba Thropp Fandom: Wicked Birthdate: N/A. Dates in Oz are a lot different than dates in the ‘real’ world. She has taken October 30th as her ‘birthday.’ Age: Twenty-eight. Physical Appearance: Tall, lanky, and angular would be good words to start describing Elphaba with. All of her twists and angles seem sharp enough to cut through stone. She constantly wears a half-glare hidden beneath her now iconic hat. Oh, and she’s green. Not an ugly shade of green, just…unusual. Clothing-wise, she tends to favor robes and skirts and whatnot. Mostly black, but she has been known to expand her color scheme into other darker hues—mainly dark violet, dark brown, dark gray, and dark blue. She wears a conically-pointed hat all the time, and is oftentimes seen carrying around a broom. Occupation: Witch. Significant Other: Prince Fiyero of the Vinkus, Romantically. Glinda of Frottica, Platonically. (Sorta). Sexual Preference: Since Elphaba’s sexual experience is very small (one male lover, one male crush, one female…something), she might claim to be mostly asexual. However, in actuality? Bisexual. ||Character Bio:|| Backstory/History: http://defiant-witch.insanejournal.com/451.html Personality in seven words or less: Driven. Bitter. Genius. Passionate. Sarcastic. Unsuccessful Wicked. How Others Perceive Your Character: Mostly the ‘Wicked’ part, really. Back in Oz, she was feared, loathed, and all-around detested—and that was before she assumed the title of Witch. After her (supposed) death, the citizens joyfully celebrating the passing of the ‘most wicked witch.’ In Aternaville? She’s seen as reserved, certainly, a bit stand-offish. But not evil, at the very least. From what point in the fandom is your character coming/how did they come to Canada?: Post-musical. She got hit with a bucket of water, before just…vanishing, it felt like. Came to sometime later, in a bed, in…Canada. She freaked out for a damn good while, let me tell you. However, she’s managed to settle down, and works at a library—research is one of the few talents she has that’s carried over from one place to another. Elphaba is, though, having a hard time getting used to this new technology around her. She’s not one to trust automobiles, televisions, or computers and, out of sheer spite, somewhat hates planes. ||Eleven Questions for the Character:|| 1. What turns you on: Intelligence. Somebody who can put up with heavy amounts of sarcasm. Acceptance of different ideas, concepts, and things. Uniqueness. Getting her first impressions challenged. 2. What turns you off: Lying is a bad thing, as is buying into gossip. Don’t just be a follower of a crowd, please. Don’t mention the skin. Getting her first impressions challenged. 3. What is your favorite word?: ‘Defy.’ 4. What is your least favorite word?: ‘Wonderful.’ 5. What is your favorite curse word?: I’m fond of ‘Wait just a clocktick.’ [ooc: Oz has some magnificent exclamations] 6. What sound or noise do you love?: Wind wooshing ‘bout in my ears. 7. What sound or noise do you hate?: A dragon’s roar. Roaring in general, really. 8. What profession other than your own, would you like to attempt?: Scientist of some sort. Biology, perhaps? 9. What profession would you least like to attempt?: Political Advisor. 10. If you could be any ice cream, what flavor would you be?: Even though people would want me to say ‘Mint,’ (including you, you smarmy bastard), I don’t know. Possibly something with dark chocolate. 11. And, finally, if Heaven exists, what would you like to hear God say when you arrive at the Pearly Gates? Even though I’d never tell anybody else this?
